Why Temple Terrace patients choose Lavena Health
Neighbors choose Lavena for cupping and Hijama because the setting is clinical, the price is published, and aftercare is explained before you leave. The NIH notes that cupping may help reduce pain but that research is limited, and we say so plainly. Many of our Hijama patients choose it as a Sunnah practice.
I had an incredible experience with the team at Lavena Health. The office was spotless, the staff was extremely professional, and they were so caring and supportive throughout my entire process. I truly felt heard and guided.
Amazing place! Dr. Saleh is a very patient and kind doctor. They really do help you achieve your goals, and it's honestly a very nice environment.
Dry cupping or Hijama?
Both use cups and suction on the skin. Dry cupping stops there. Hijama, also called wet cupping, adds small, shallow cuts to the skin so a little blood is drawn into the cup. Dr. Azar explains the difference at your visit and helps you choose, and you can read the longer comparison in dry cupping vs. Hijama.
Hijama in a clinical setting
Many of our Hijama patients come to it as a Sunnah practice and want it done properly, by a licensed practitioner in a clean clinical room, with the aftercare explained before they leave. That is how every session here works. If you prefer a particular day, mention it when you book.
