Is this insurance?
No — it's direct primary care. You pay Lavena a simple monthly membership and get your care directly, with no claims, copays, or denials. Many members keep a high-deductible insurance plan for emergencies and use us for everything else.
Can I keep my insurance and still be a member?
Yes, and many members do. It is common to keep a high-deductible or catastrophic plan for hospital care and emergencies while using the membership for everyday primary care. We do not bill your insurance either way.

What is the difference between Basic and Full care?
Basic ($59/month with 6 months paid up front, or $75/month month to month) is messaging-based care for medication refills (no controlled medications), work notes and basic medical concerns. Full care ($99/month with 6 months paid up front, or $125/month month to month) includes one in-office or video visit each month, 20% off other treatment services, ongoing monitoring and messaging with clinicians, and discounts on labs and imaging.
Do you treat families and kids?
Yes. Couple plans are $150/month; family plans are $150/month plus $25/month per child. Both are Full care on a 6-month commitment paid up front.
Can I do telehealth?
Yes. Both plans are available by telehealth in 40+ states, with in-office visits at our Temple Terrace clinic. Full care includes one in-office or video visit each month; Basic care happens by message. Physical exams, procedures and any other hands-on care require an in-person visit.
