Can I receive hormone care by telehealth in Florida or another state?
Yes. Women's hormone therapy is available by telehealth across 40+ states: Florida and Missouri patients are seen by Lavena Health physicians, and patients in other states through our partner physician network. Testosterone options are available in Florida, Missouri and Texas only, with more states being added. Your physician determines whether remote care is appropriate and arranges required labs or in-person assessment before prescribing when needed. Baseline and follow-up labs are billed separately.
Why do I need labs before starting?
Hormone therapy without a baseline panel is guesswork — and unsafe. We test the full picture first so your protocol is built on your actual numbers, then re-test to fine-tune.
Is testosterone therapy safe?
Testosterone therapy has real risks, including higher blood pressure, a higher red blood cell count, blood clots and lower fertility, so it is prescribed only after labs and a physician assessment, and you are monitored with periodic labs and visits throughout. Which pharmacy fills my prescription?
Prescriptions are dispensed by state-licensed partner pharmacies, listed with their addresses and phone numbers on our partner pharmacies page (lavenahealth.com/partner-pharmacies). Your care team tells you which pharmacy fills yours.
Are the clinicians licensed?
Yes. Lavena Health physicians are licensed in Florida and Missouri. Patients in other states are cared for by partner-network physicians licensed where the patient is located.
